Hasiera Homes

Who We Are

About Us

Hasiera means home and new beginnings. The sensation of having a place to call home is the best one in the world. We help fulfil dreams under the umbrella of Three strands foundation doing business as Hasiera Housing. Three Strands Foundation was initiated in October 2019 with the purpose of supporting individuals aging out of foster care. We provide rental homes to young adults that don’t have support putting them at a disadvantage in securing independence. We are committed to providing affordable shelter to individuals giving them a place they can proudly be called your own.

Mission

We have a strong desire to ensure we continues to give back by helping to provide freedom, safety and a great new start to those that have longed for stable, cozy and comfortable homes.

Did you know that in the US, more than 20,000 youth turn 18 and “Age Out” of the foster care system every year. We provide Studio to 2-bedroom apartments  rentals at affordable prices.

We are living in an era where property values have outpaced an individual’s earnings and there is not much available for young adults just starting a life on their own. We are making their impossible dream of independence a reality.

Hasiera homes maintain a “ Zero Tolerance Discrimination Policy” and does not discriminate on the basis of Race, Religion, Political or Sexual Orientation.

Our Story

The idea of giving a homey feeling was conceived by the founder, who had personally experienced growing up with foster children. As a child she experienced moving a lot as her mother sought to hold onto affordable housing.

Much of her years she lived in NYC housing projects. Her mother had a golden heart. Although she did not have much, she kept her doors open to raise many children that were not her birth children. She warmly welcomed friends, family and, foster children into her home offering love and care.

In Jessica’s adult years, while working in corporate she also worked part time for several years with temporarily displaced children in group homes. As her schedule would no longer allow this, she started traveling to different countries to keep her mission of taking care of children through missions.

Jessica has a strong desire to ensure that she continues to give back by helping to provide freedom, safety and a great new start to those that have longed for stable, cozy and comfortable homes. This desire started Hasiera Homes.
